A lovely vintage French inspired bouillotte table lamp, featuring a painted metal shade and traditional three light design. Inspired by classic French bouillotte lamps, the piece features a slender column base in soft beige with delicate white rose and foliage decoration, repeated across the matching tapered toleware shade. The shade is finished with a pierced metal gallery and decorative ring finial. The lamp features three faux candle sleeves and a rotary switch that allows the globes to be illuminated individually in sequence. Each turn of the switch activates an additional globe, allowing you to choose between one, two or all three lights to adjust the level of illumination. Vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including surface marks, paint loss and ageing to the metalwork and shade, all adding to its character.
