Vintage sculptural metal fire guard with a soft serpentine top edge and curved body, raised on decorative scrolled feet. Sourced in Denmark, it has a nice restrained European feel. Finished in a muted grey tone with light surface wear and marks consistent with age. Solid and functional, but equally good just leaned in place as a decorative layer in front of an unused fireplace.
