A charming vintage lidded glass asparagus dish featuring an embossed metal lid with a detailed kangaroo finial and a pressed glass base. Traditionally used for serving asparagus, it also makes a wonderful decorative piece or unique addition to a cabinet of curiosities. The lid is stamped with the number “3” to the underside. The maker and metal are unidentified. Wear consistent with age and use, including surface scratches, age-related wear and tarnishing to the lid, with minor wear to the glass, as photographed.
