A handsome vintage Regency style drum table featuring a circular timber top inset with tooled tan leather, finished with a decorative gilt border and central motif. The deep drum form apron incorporates three drawers, raised on a turned and reeded pedestal terminating in three elegant splayed legs with decorative brass toned caps and castors. Drawing on early 19th century English Regency design, the combination of a leather writing surface, drum form top, pedestal base and reeded detailing gives the table a classic library or drawing room character. Vintage condition with visible wear, marks, scratches and fading to the leather top and timber consistent with age and use. One drawer is missing its handle, as pictured. A versatile piece suitable as a side, lamp or occasional table.
