A magnificent pair of vintage Neoclassical style pedestals featuring octagonal pink veined marble tops and bases, fluted marble column shafts and decorative Corinthian brass capitals. Inspired by classical architectural columns, these substantial stands are ideal for displaying urns, busts, lamps or statement plants. The warm rose-toned marble is beautifully veined throughout and contrasts elegantly against the aged brass mounts. Extremely heavy and solidly constructed, they make a wonderful decorative feature used as a pair beside a fireplace, doorway or console. There are a number of small edge nibbles, minor chips and surface marks to the marble tops and bases, together with general wear consistent with age and use, all reflected in the price and commensurate with age.
