A pair of vintage French Louis XVI style fauteuils with painted timber frames and red and gold striped upholstery. Each features an oval upholstered back, fluted tapered legs and carved foliate detailing throughout, finished in aged cream with burgundy and gilt accents. Upholstered to the seats, backs and armrests in a rich red fabric with fine gold stripes and matching piping. Sold as a pair.
Condition: Good vintage condition with wear, marks and patina to frames consistent with age and use. Upholstery has visible marks and some staining (refer photographs). Condition reflected in price.
