Decorative vintage oval girandole mirror with a wrought iron frame of scrolling vines, hand-worked leaves and a twisted ribbon bow to the base. The mirror is flanked by twin candle sconces, each finished with a faceted crystal drop suspended within the ironwork. A moulded green glass floral rosette sits at the crest amongst further leafy decoration. Matching candlesticks are included. Dating to the mid 20th century and drawing on Italian Florentine design, with decorative ironwork and glass embellishments typical of European interiors of the period. The original mirror plate has extensive foxing and silvering loss throughout. The iron frame shows surface wear, oxidation and patina consistent with age and use.
