Decorative vintage Neoclassical style tazza featuring a shallow circular gilt metal dish with raised fruit and foliate decoration, supported by three figural putti holding spheres aloft. The figures surround a central turned alabaster column and rise from an ornate scrolling gilt metal base. The classical putti and fruit motifs give the piece a distinctly Louis XVI Revival influence. Designed as a decorative centrepiece or comport, ideal for display on a console, dining table or sideboard. Wear, rubbing, tarnishing and marks to the metal finish consistent with age and use.
