A vintage 1970s model of an 18th century brigantine sailing ship, constructed in timber with fabric sails, detailed rigging, metal fittings and a painted black and red hull. Raised on its original timber stand with brass plaque reading “Bergantin Siglo XVIII”, translating to “18th-Century Brigantine”. The model retains plenty of age and character, with fading and discolouration to the sails, wear to the painted surfaces and timber, and some loosened, tangled and missing sections of rigging and finer components consistent with age.
