An Italian Rococo Revival settee with an intricately carved walnut frame featuring pierced scrollwork, shell motifs and a crest with a pair of carved cherubs. The sweeping arms, carved apron and cabriole legs are complemented by neutral leather upholstery finished with decorative studding. The timber frame has light wear consistent with use, along with visible construction joins and small gaps in places, as shown, which are typical of this style of carved furniture. It is solid, comfortable and ready to use. Minor scuff marks and wear to lesther.
