A large vintage West German ceramic vase dating to the mid 20th century, featuring a textured ivory ground decorated with black linear panels and colourful hand painted floral motifs in blue, orange, yellow and green. The tall ovoid form is finished with a contrasting black rim and interior, with the graphic decoration giving the piece a distinctly mid century European feel. Impressed W. Germany 585/40 to the underside. Wear consistent with age and use, including minor marks and surface wear. Please refer to photos for condition.
