A small vintage Indian trinket box hand carved from softly variegated green soapstone, with natural blush, cream and grey tones running through the stone. The hinged lid features a pierced central floral motif surrounded by four carved stars, allowing light to pass through the stonework and highlighting the simple geometric design. Good vintage condition with minor surface wear, marks and natural variations to the stone consistent with age and use.
