A generous vintage reclining armchair upholstered in deep olive green leather, with a distinctly traditional English club chair flair. Featuring a button tufted back, rolled arms, brass toned nailhead trim and a gathered leather front panel. The chair reclines via a timber side lever. Consistent with age (mid-late 20th Century) the rich green leather has developed considerable variation and wear across the seat, arms and back, giving the chair plenty of character. The leather shows visible rubbing, fading, surface marks, creasing and areas of discolouration consistent with age and use. Further scuffs and wear to the sides and rear. Overall, very comfortable and the soft leather is very pleasant. Please refer to images for overall condition. A comfortable, substantial armchair with classic country house appeal and a particularly good aged green leather finish.
