A vintage Italian Florentine wastepaper bin with an ornate embossed foliate design, finished in a soft creams with gilt detailing and decorative borders. A lovely traditional Florentine piece. Made in Italy stamped to underside. Wear consistent with age and use, including rubbing, marks and losses to the painted and gilt finish. Some fraying to lip, common of Florentine items of this age.
