An elegant tall giltwood pier mirror in the French Louis XV Rococo style, featuring an ornate scrolling crest with carved floral and acanthus leaf decoration. The slender rectangular frame is finished with beaded detailing, decorative foliate mounts and scrolling lower corners. The warm gilt finish has developed an aged patina with wear consistent with age and use, including areas of rubbing, minor losses and imperfections to the decorative finish. Minor marks to glass.
