A beautifully shaped vintage French style commode with a classic serpentine front and elegant cabriole legs, finished with a richly veined green marble top. The timber body features fine string inlay and is detailed throughout with decorative ormolu mounts and original ring pulls. Three drawers offer generous storage, sitting within a softly curved façade that’s very much in the Louis XV tradition. The marble top has a deep green tone with natural veining, giving it a heavier, architectural feel against the warmth of the timber. Wear and marks consistent with age, including surface wear to the finish and minor imperfections as shown.
