A substantial vintage table lamp with an oversized classical urn shaped body in polished nickel, set on a stepped square base and finished with a large tapered neutral fabric shade. The design has a strong Neoclassical influence, with its trophy style proportions, turned detailing and architectural base. Its exaggerated scale gives it a grand, formal feel and makes it particularly suited to a large console, sideboard or generous bedside setting. Wear consistent with age and use, including light surface marks and variation to the polished metal finish. The shade also shows some minor marks from use. In working order.
