An antique mahogany occasional table dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1900-1910, with a shaped top, carved and fluted apron and four slender cabriole legs. The legs are joined by a shaped lower under tier with curved supports, while the raised moulded edge and small scroll details around the top give it a distinctly Edwardian, Chippendale Revival feel. The mahogany has a rich reddish brown tone with minor marks, rubbing and surface wear throughout consistent with age and use. A lovely early 20th century table with particularly nice proportions and carving.
