A vintage floor standing smoker’s ashtray dating to around the 1930s, crafted in brass with a decorative cast base, slender stem and shallow ash bowl with integrated cigarette rests. The design has a distinctive martial influence, with an ornate sword hilt inspired handle, rope twist detailing and a repeating pattern of swords radiating around the cast brass base. A great old smoking room piece with a lovely aged brass finish. Patina, oxidation, marks and surface wear throughout consistent with age and use.
