A classic desk lamp with a softer edge. This mid century bankers style lamp features a polished brass base and stem paired with a white opaline glass shade rather than the usual green. The result feels warmer, more European and far less corporate.The curved shade casts a beautiful, even glow and the solid round base gives it lovely weight and presence. Perfect on a writing desk, bedside table or layered into a vignette against gilt mirrors and timber. Circa 1960s to 1970s. Brass base shows gentle age and surface marks in keeping with vintage condition.
