A decorative Santos style arm ornament inspired by traditional religious figures and devotional sculpture. Modelled as an elongated forearm and open hand with carved effect detailing and an aged, layered painted finish. Finished in muted cream, grey and soft mauve tones with extensive rubbing and distressed areas, giving the piece the appearance of an old polychrome Santos fragment. Designed as a decorative object to be displayed laid flat amongst books, sculptures and collected pieces. Variations, rubbing and losses to the painted finish form part of the intended aged appearance. Please refer to photos for condition.
