A decorative pair of vintage glazed ceramic elephant plant stands, finished in a soft cream glaze with pastel toned blue, plum and beige detailing. Each elephant features an elaborate saddlecloth with traditional Chinese inspired motifs, raised decorative patterns, tassels and a square platform top, suitable for displaying plants, urns or decorative objects. Both display wear consistent with age and use, including crazing throughout the glaze, chips and small losses to the ceramic, particularly around the feet and decorative edges, along with minor marks and rubbing to the finish. These imperfections are reflected in the price. Sold as a pair.
