A pair of vintage Mid Century Modern table lamps, with a distinctly Space Age design. Featuring oversized mushroom shaped domed shades finished in vibrant orange, suspended above contrasting black cylindrical bases with conical tops. The floating shades are supported by slender metal brackets, allowing light to diffuse beneath the domes and creating a warm glow. Their sculptural geometric forms and bold contrasting colours are characteristic of the futuristic lighting designs popular throughout the 1970s. A fantastic matching pair, ideal for bedside tables, a sideboard or console. In good vintage working condition, with minor surface marks and wear consistent with age and use. Price is for the pair.
