A lovely pair of vintage French coloured prints depicting early ballooning and aviation concepts from the 18th century. Titled 'La Mongolfiera', the artworks reference the pioneering era of hot air balloon flight, including an imaginative interpretation of the famed aerial vessel of Professor Robertson and a Paris balloon ascent of 1784. The prints are behind glass in decorative gilt-toned frames with a deeply moulded profile. Sold as a pair.
