A pair of antique Regency style spill vases, each featuring an open pierced brass lattice body with decorative Gothic foliate cresting. Raised on dark patinated trefoil form weighted bases, the openwork holders were traditionally designed to hold spills used for transferring flame from the fireplace to candles and lamps. Antique condition with wear, tarnishing and patina consistent with age and use. Sold as a pair.
