A handsome pair of antique Queen Anne style chairs featuring elegant cabriole legs with carved knees and a warm mahogany finish. The proportions are beautifully balanced, with gently curved front legs and clean rear legs creating a classic silhouette that works equally well as occasional seating or at a dining table. The chairs have been upholstered in a traditional tartan fabric, which complements the rich timber tones and adds a relaxed country house feel. The upholstery is later than the frames but presents well and is ready for use. Circa late 19th to early 20th century.
