A handcrafted ceramic wall cross finished in a soft ivory glaze and overlaid with ornate gilt metal filigree. The pierced metalwork features scrolling foliate decoration, with gilt edging completing the design. Signed by the maker to the reverse and fitted with a hole for wall hanging. A beautiful decorative piece with Mediterranean and ecclesiastical influence, lovely hung alone or as part of a collected wall. Good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
