A handsome English oak refectory table dating to circa 1930s, made in the Jacobean Revival style. Constructed in oak with a solid timber top above a decorative carved frieze, supported by four turned and fluted baluster legs with block bases and joined by a central stretcher. The design draws on traditional 17th century English refectory furniture, a style that saw a strong revival during the early 20th century. Lovely warm colour and grain with wear, marks and minor imperfections consistent with age and use. Circa 1930s.
