A dramatic French cast metal figure lamp bearing the name G. Moreau to the base, formed as a classically styled Cupid in flowing movement and finished in a deep dark patina. The figure supports a large domed Tiffany-style leaded glass shade, richly composed with opalescent whites, mottled blues and greens, and warm amber cabochon details. When illuminated, the glass throws a soft, layered glow typical of traditional Tiffany revival lighting. The cast figure is a decorative work after a model by G. Moreau, mounted on a substantial weighted plinth. The stained glass shade is later, together creating a bold and romantic composite lamp characteristic of mid 20th century revival interiors.
