Early to mid 20th century English revival console table with strong Jacobean influence. Dark stained timber with chunky turned end supports, barley-twist detailing to the apron and spindled stretcher base. Substantial proportions with a grounded, architectural feel. The table is topped with a fitted glass surface, allowing the timber beneath to be appreciated while making it practical for everyday use. Works beautifully as a hall table, behind a sofa, or styled as a display surface as photographed.
Vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use - see photos for more. Solid and well made.
