A decorative pair of vintage Neoclassical style lamps featuring male and female cast metal figures modelled after classical torchbearers, each supporting a fluted gilt candle holder above. Raised on substantial contrasting green and olive marble bases, each displaying beautiful natural variation and character. Inspired by Empire and Grand Tour designs, the figures are finished in a dark aged patina and richly detailed throughout. An elegant addition to a console, sideboard, library or bedside setting. Professionally rewired by a qualified electrician and fitted with newer black clip-on shades lined in gold. The lamps are sold complete with electrician-specified bulbs and cast a warm ambient glow when illuminated.
