A beautiful antique French Louis XVI salon suite comprising a matching pair of oval back chairs and coordinating window bench. Elegantly detailed with fluted legs, beaded carving and ribbon cresting, the suite retains its original cane seats and lower back panels, showcasing the refined craftsmanship of the period. The chairs have later upholstered upper back panels in a vibrant botanical linen, while matching removable seat cushions have been made for all three pieces. In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use, including age-related wear to the painted finish, patina, and repairs and losses to sections of the cane.
