A beautifully detailed antique Danish carved oak cabinet raised on turned legs with stretcher base, featuring a richly carved door panel with urn and scrolling foliage motif. The deep relief carving and dark aged patina give this piece wonderful presence while still remaining a practical compact size. Internally the cabinet opens to a shelved storage space, making it ideal in an entryway, or as a decorative lamp stand. The proportions are particularly versatile and easy to place within both traditional and contemporary interiors. The original lock plate remains as a decorative feature, however the cabinet is currently used without a key and the door opens freely. Early 20th century. Solid oak construction. Denmark
Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear, minor marks and surface wear consistent with age and use.
