An antique 19th century brass taper candlestand in the Neoclassical taste, centred by a classically draped female caryatid figure supporting the candle sconce above. Raised on a circular stepped base with finely reeded borders, with engraved foliate detailing to the sconce and an aged brass finish. Antique condition with wear, oxidation and patina consistent with age and use.
