A beautiful 19th century French walnut settee showcasing the graceful curves and elegant proportions of the Louis XV style. The shaped crest, carved floral detailing and flowing cabriole legs are complemented by four original brass front castors, allowing the piece to be moved with ease. Recently refurbished, the settee has been upholstered in a richly textured woven fabric in warm raspberry and burgundy tones, giving it a fresh yet timeless look while remaining sympathetic to its age. In very good condition following its recent refurbishment. The upholstery is clean and well presented, while the walnut frame displays light wear and a mellow patina consistent with age and use. Retaining four original brass castors across the front. A very comfortable peice.
