Beautiful giltwood occasional table in a Louis XV inspired style with a shaped Carrara marble top set within a moulded edge. Raised on cabriole legs with carved foliate detail and joined by a softly curved stretcher with a central turned boss. Likely Continental European in origin, most plausibly Italian, and dating to the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1890–1920. The gilt finish shows natural wear and patina throughout, with layers visible beneath, giving the piece depth and character. The marble top has soft grey veining typical of Carrara, with minor edge nibbles and surface marks consistent with age. Structurally sound. Please refer to photographs for condition detail.
