A vintage English tole ware serving tray depicting Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. The central pastoral scene depicts the house across its parkland with a shepherdess and flock of sheep in the foreground, surrounded by scrolling gilt foliage on a rich red ground. Finished with a raised oval rim. Dating to the mid 20th century and part of a series of English decorative trays depicting Chatsworth and its surrounding estate. Good vintage condition with scratches, marks and areas of wear to the painted and gilt finish consistent with age and use.
