A handsome vintage walnut table with a richly parquetry veneer top, arranged in a geometric bookmatched design and finished with fine contrasting line inlay. The base features four fluted column supports raised on substantial trestle feet, joined by a central stretcher. A versatile size that would work well as a hall or console table, writing table or smaller dining table. Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are scratches, marks and areas of wear across the top and frame, including some more noticeable scratches to the veneer as photographed, reflected in price.
