A vintage low timber cabinet with a beautifully worn painted finish and a distinctly European country house feel. The long, low form features four panelled cupboard doors with shaped mouldings, simple dark metal knobs and generous storage. Finished in layers of soft chalky white with areas of the natural timber showing through, giving the cabinet plenty of texture and character. The stepped configuration to the top adds to its slightly unusual, collected feel. A versatile piece that would work particularly well as a low sideboard, television cabinet or storage piece. Wear consistent with age and use, including considerable rubbing, marks, scratches, losses and variation to the painted finish throughout, as pictured.
