A vintage nest of two chinoiserie tables, finished in warm coral red with black and gilt detailing. The recessed tops are decorated with traditional chinoiserie scenes of pagodas, birds, flowering branches and rocky landscapes, framed by gilt borders. Turned legs with black and gilt accents are joined by stretchered bases, with small floral motifs decorating the corners. Designed to nest neatly together, while working equally well as individual side or occasional tables. Wear consistent with age and use, including fading, rubbing, marks and losses to the painted and gilt finish. Please see photos for further condition.
