A stunning vintage French Louis XV style settee with a shaped gilt wood frame, carved floral details and elegant cabriole legs. Upholstered in a classic pale blue, cream and grey striped fabric, including upholstered armrests. The gilt finish has aged beautifully with areas of red bole showing through. Wear consistent with age and use, including wear and losses to the gilt finish. Slight watermarks to the upholstery as pictured (barely noticeable). Please see photos for further condition details.
