A pair of vintage gilt timber candlesticks with tall fluted column stems and stepped circular bases. Finished in aged gold over a warm red ground, with areas of rubbing and loss revealing the colour beneath. The turned collars and architectural column form give them a classical feel, while their taller proportions work particularly well on a mantel, console or dining table. Wear consistent with age and use, including rubbing, marks and losses to the gilt finish. Please see photos for further condition. Candles not included. Price is for the pair.
